Look for scenarios where labels and stickers make sense.
Kids aren’t the only ones who love stickers! It’s tempting to put stickers and labels on everything — even if they’re not necessarily needed. Look for spots in your current customer experience where a fun sticker can enhance branding or a label can give customers brief, important information. For example, the pandemic increased the need for food safety assurance, especially with take-out orders. Delivery bags are now sealed with stickers, both as a promise of food safety and as a message from the restaurant to the consumer that their safety is a priority.
Keep messaging concise.
Stickers and labels are some of the smallest print collateral you can get. Keep that smaller space in mind when figuring out what messaging you need to put on the sticker. Use icons or graphics to say what words can’t. If you need stickers for your business to encourage social distancing, use arrows and a note about staying 6 ft apart.
Give a pop of color to packaging efforts.
Stickers and labels can be a great opportunity to make a bold statement. Maybe it’s your logo on a bright sticker that’s holding together the wrapping on your product. Perhaps you want to have a colorful label to grab a customer’s attention about an important notice. They can add a pop of color to seemingly bland packaging or grab a customer’s attention inside a brochure. They’re also proof that even the smallest piece of collateral can have an impact on your customers.
Spread brand awareness with trade show collateral.
As events slowly start popping up, so will the need for event collateral. One of the fastest ways to get your brand out there is to give people stickers to wear. Visitors to your booth won’t have to hold onto more pamphlets or brochures, and them wearing your sticker can expose your brand to others as people walk around. To reduce points of contact, use individual stickers rather than one large sheet.
